Описание. Информация по игре:
Command heavily-armed HERCs against relentless automated Cybrids in this MechWarrior-ish first-person sim. Customize your units, manage resources, collect salvage, research new technology, and more to beat back the Cybrid invasion.
This represents the perfect stepping stone between the massive and inexorable MechWarrior 2 series and its humble predecessor, MechWarrior 1. The textures, sounds and graphics are astounding for its technological level and actually manage to surpass MW2, when that later monster is set to 320x200 on low-end machines.
Earthsiege 1 is NOT, I repeat, NOT a product of FASA's BattleTech universe (as the MechWarrior games are), though the resemblances are too close for legal comfort. In any event, this is a fine addition to Sierra's Metaltech / Earthsiege / Starsiege universe. Note that the game should ideally be controlled by more than just the keyboard for best play value. Works fine under Win9X.
